Looking for Child Counselling in Nottinghamshire?
Discover a different, gentler way to help your child.
If your child is struggling – with anxiety, anger, low confidence, or a difficult time in their life – you don’t have to wait months for an appointment or take them somewhere clinical and unfamiliar. I come to you, into your own home, where your child already feels safe, and I work with your whole family, not just your child.
Grab a cuppa, and let’s talk about what your child needs.
I’m Claire Clements, an experienced practitioner, and I’ve spent over 23 years helping children feel like themselves again.

Is your child anxious, angry or just not themselves?
Every family is different, but the feeling is often the same. Maybe your child is anxious, angry or withdrawn, and nothing you try seems to reach them. Maybe their confidence has taken a knock, or they’re struggling to sleep or go into school. Many of the children I work with are neurodivergent – autistic, ADHD or simply experiencing the world differently. Diagnosed or not, you don’t need a label before we can start.
You don’t have to figure it out on your own. I’ll come to you, get to know your child where they feel safest, and work with you as a family, so you get tools you can actually use. Because when your child finds their feet sparkle again, so does everyone else in your home.
What changes for your family
When we work together…
This is what peace in the home looks like. And it’s what I help families find.
We really enjoyed the online session! My daughter didn’t want to join in at first, but something changed her mind – that’s a credit to you. She got a lot out of it, and it was uplifting, fun and creative.

Meet Claire
The face behind Positive Pants
I’m Claire, and I launched Positive Pants back in April 2018 after a lightbulb moment! I was wondering how I could make the idea of a positive mindset more accessible to children of primary school age. Then it hit me! Positive Pants!
It’s a well-known phrase to children and adults alike, and works as a tangible way to engage children with what could feel like a tricky concept. When you know how, having a positive mindset can be as easy as putting on your ‘Positive Pants’.
